I'm very sorry for the delay in starting the voting....I got very delayed for several reasons:
- had a research paper to write with a deadline (for my grad studies)
- my parents are passing by this weekend
- SC had technical problems
- some other issues here and there.


I am working on preparing the voting right now. However I don't think I will have all the images ready until Monday. So Monday for sure we'll start

From October 25 - 31, 2007 all Smart Canucks members get to vote for the cute pets. The top 12 winners receive a prize each. 1st place winner gets to choose first, followed by 2nd and and so on.

How to join the contest

First of all you need to take an adorable cute picture of your pet. It can also be funny or can have something special. If you take a poor pic don't expect to get many votes. You have a lot of time to come up with a good picture so don't rush the picture.
Be creative!


Once you have that special picture it's time to enter it here. Please follow the instructions below carefully:

You need to sign into the forum. If you’re not a member you can register here.

1. First select "Image Host" on the top red bar (shown below)


2. After you choose "Upload Images" you'll be taken to a screen that looks like this...


3. Click on "Browse" and choose from your computer the image you'd like to upload (one at a time).

4. Once you have them uploaded. They'll be stored in your "My Images" folder under "Image Host" (screen shot from step one).

5. When you open your "My Images" folder you'll have all the images you've uploaded in there with the code box below them. To post the image on SC you'll need the "BB Code IMG" Copy the entire line and paste it into the post you'd like to share the image.





6. You also need to provide the following information:

• Name of pet
• Tell us something interesting, funny or cute about it.

7. If you have several pets you can enter each pet separately into the contest but you can only win one prize even if several of your pets win.

This is "STITCH" he was an orphan and the second I saw him, I had to have him because he is SSOOOOOO cute. Stitch loves to go on car rides and falls asleep instantly. Lol, so whenever he's misbehavin, we take him for a ride and he's out..... PS/ my boy named him from the cartoon Lilo & Stitch that's my boy in the pic with Stitch

I'd prefer that you use the upload method specified cuz it automatically resizes images . But if you insist on using photobucket please make sure your image size is 800px x 600px or smaller. In the previous Cute Baby contest I had to manually resize pics posted by photobucket and I'm not interested in doing that anymore.
