Thanks alajen and JennyP!
Re: what to buy? For the stores that carry food, you can do well with things like milk (4L usu. about 3.99), ice cream (on sale I usually buy a few for my curated ice cream exhibit showing on an ongoing basis in my kitchen freezer ), eggs, orange juice, other food you might have to buy at a supermarket anyway - that helps make a good dent in the $50. required for the 20x promotion, and you get to eat for a little while too!
Any other ideas out there?
(BTW for those in Toronto, Shopper's also sells TTC tickets - but i don't think they qualify for the 20x promotion - or I know where my money would go....

Passport photos - these are good for 1 year. don't forget, you can't smile in them.
Digital prints - keep in mind they have to be picked up and paid that day.
Also, replacing items in your medicine cabinet.

hey y'all,
just scoped out Shopper's again thinking about tomorrow - they also sell sunglasses if you haven't managed to pick up a pair for this season (i wear them year round [not inside mind you, or at night - unlike Corey Hart] to protect from harmful UV rays which can eventually cause cataracts. don't have a dog, but if i did, and they made them for dogs, i'd pick one up for the dog too [they spend so many hours in summer lolling about in the sun...]). I think price ranges from $8.99 to 19.99 or so (probably just depends on the stock at the particular location).
ciao

Oops, sorry!
I live in Nova Scotia, so I just looked through my own local flyer. I just assumed that the first page of the flyer was the same for everyone. The Wednesday deals on my flyer were in a row on the bottom of the first page... I guess if you live in a different area, Pringles may not be on sale there...
