New SC feature: Collapsable First Post

To make browsing easier I added a new feature to SC

Next to each thread title you will see a "+" sign. If you click on it will open the first post of the thread in the same page. This will help save your time


Please let me know whether or not you like this feature and please don't forget to post "thank you" if you like a deal freebie, etc.

I think this is a good feature....My only suggestion, would be to somehow place a link so you could open the reply section, without having to close and reopen the original thread

but by looking at your post,

Yes I am a bit concerned that people won't bother to reply back. Unfortunately adding a reply button isn't easy. I'll leave this feature on for a couple of days and we'll see how it goes. If the number of replies decrease or if people don't like it in general I'll remove it

another thing you can do with the new internet explorer is to hold CTRL when you click on a post, that opends it up in a new tab so the main page is always open for you on another tab. It's hard to explain, just try it.

I am on another site almost identical to this format and they have a feature that, when you hover the mouse over the title of the thread, you can read the first couple of lines. Its good because you can get the jist of the post, but you have to click on it to read the whole thing and then you reply like normal...

It does work, it has to do with where you have your arrow (to use the technical term)... have it on the 'grey' area beside the text, but not on the text, a little past it.. and leave it there for a second.
